The property market continued to rise in 2026. According to the INE House Price Index published on 7 September 2026, house prices in Spain rose 12.2% year on year in the second quarter, the 45th consecutive quarter of increases. The Valencian Community grew by 13%, above the national average. By type of property, second-hand homes rose 12.9% and new builds 7.4%. In the city of Alicante, Tinsa puts the average price at €2,069/m² in the second quarter of 2026 (+17.3% year on year). All of this places Alicante among the most dynamic areas of the Costa Blanca property market.
